Response to the “Dear fat people” video

This horrible video was made by a so called ‘comedian’: Nicole Arbour.

How fucking dare you.

You are disgusting. You ruined many lives with that video. I may not be obese but I used to be. And thanks to people like you, I have an eating disorder.

The video you made, shows how much of a bully you are. Telling plus sized people that “fat shaming isn’t real” and “just stop eating” is disgusting.

Oh, look, you disabled likes and comments? That shows how much you KNOW that this video will destroy lives.

That poor little boy you talked about, you know nothing about. You don’t know his story, you don’t know what goes around his brain, you don’t know what’s going on in his body.

People like you, are the reason people suffer from depression, eating disorders and anxiety. People like you, are the reason people cut. People like you are fucking disgusting.

You might consider this as a “controversial comedy video” or “the truth” but it’s not.

Saying that #BodyPositivity was just an excuse for eating? Really? That hashtag was made for confidence. For people who hold themselves back from eating because they’re too afraid of their body image, for people who cannot even love their body because of what other people, LIKE YOU, say to them.

I can’t believe you even dared to make a video like that.

Sorry this is too long but I had to get this off my chest because I’m sick of people like her. People like her make me sick to the stomach.
